Adili Impact Project
In response to the need to step up Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) practices with the advent of COVID-19 pandemic in and to mitigate the socio-economic impact of the pandemic in vulnerable hotspot communities, Zuhura Africa launched its inaugural project in Busia County.
The project, which aims to eventually use locally sourced raw materials for soap making, convened its first cohort of 17 young people, majority of them young mothers, for intensive hands on training. Participants were trained on transferrable skills and how to develop three key products currently in high demand; sanitizers, bar soap, & multi-purpose soap. They also received business skills training
We are open to work with organizations that share the Zuhura Impact Organisation vision and spirit and would like to hear how we can work together
